Thank all the children who sent drawings to support Chinese kids who had to stay home. You are all very kind and creative!!!
A lot of things have happened since we launched the “2020 Drawings from America” project. As of today, May 18th, most but not all schools in China are open. Students going to schools are required to wear masks, keep social distancing, and wash hands frequently.
When we started the “2020 Drawings From America” project in early February, we didn’t expect that USA would be hit so badly by Covid-19. Most American schools decided to close in mid-March, and decided to stay closed for the whole semester in April.
We wish all the American kids staying home will have fun, stay strong, and keep reading and writing.
